Need for Speed NITRO

Released in November 2009, Need for Speed NITRO was available only on Nintendo-based rigs -- the Wii and DS. An arcade-style racer that takes full advantage of the platform's unique controls to deliver a non-stop-fun experience.

In NITRO, customization is key. You have the ability to not only trick out your ride, but also design your own "tag", and as when you're the leader in a race, that tag is plastered all over town to let everyone know who's the best.

The game's namesake, the nitro boost, is another major factor in your racing career. Drift around corners, pass opponents, and perform other crazy driving maneuvers to gain boost. Then, once you hit a clear stretch of road, floor it.

With 30 licensed cars, ranging from the endlessly-cute Volkswagen Beetle to the prodigiously powerful Pagani Zonda R, NITRO has more than enough raw power to get your blood rushing.
